I have a Chromebook browser and cannot download Opera or Puffin. I was a member on and off over the years using Flash. Since Flash is no longer an option does that mean there is no way I can play these games anymore unless I get a desk or lap top computer? Please advise.

Thank you.

Idk, may be there are some virtual machines that works on Chrome OS which can run or emulate windows inside of it?

I think you won't have any problems playing all the latest games on your Chromebook since they are based on HTML5 not a flash. But you gonna get a problem with older ones which were made in Flash. Flash capable browser X-Opera that we do recommend works only for Windows.

To play our old flash games you can try to install CrossOver app. It has free trial version. This app works as a virtual machine which could allow you to install and use X-Opera. I don't have ability to check it, but it seems that theoretically it might work out. Here is the page where it is described in details how to install CrossOver: https://appuals.com/how-to-run-windows- ... hromebook/

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions. I am considering purchasing a regular PC lap top. While it will cost me, it may be worth it instead of trying different methods of crossing over my Chromebook. I have a feeling that doing so may perhaps be more aggravating than simply purchasing a computer with access to Windows. That said, thank you all once again for taking the trouble to respond and trying to help me.

Yes, I would recommend to change it to just regular Windows or Mac laptop. It seems that Chrome OS isn't going to conquer the world :)
