Well, we just got a hefty installment, so probably not for a long time. Enjoy the most recent game though!

Within a year you'll see a continuation for sure. Maybe even earlier.

Anyway, the first part remains the best!
Even drawing there is much sexier, and movements:

The second series is not well drawn. But the plot is interesting, luring :)

The difference in art you try to refer to is called 'shading' or 'shadowing'. Sometimes I make games with full 'shadowing', sometimes with 'simple shadowing' (just blicks or light spots), sometimes without 'shadowing' at all. It depends on the game length, sometimes you have to use a simplier lighting to make a bigger game possible. Animation is pretty complicated and time-consuming process, that's why most of the animators never work on timer, cuz they always fail their deadlines.

I can confirm that sometimes making full-shaded animation take way to much time and the final result isn't that different to be honest. Face style changes from the game to the game cuz we aren't robots we don't make 3d model of the face in order to redraw it from all the possible angles. So it may looks different time to time.

I can't see any difference between those faces. All of them are drawn by the same hand which is mine :) Even real faces may look slightly different under different angles and lighting. But, specially for you, I will try my best to draw her face as similar to her first appearence as possible for the next game.
