During Flash-era most of people were using Adobe Flash products to create both code and animation. Nowdays things got a bit more complicated, cuz now you need to produce HTML5 game. Animations still can be created in Adobe Flash or Adobe Animate CC, but to create a game our of it you need to use some kind of a game engine. There are plenty of those, none of them are perfect of course (have different issues with different browsers). Or you may create your own game engine. Both cases require some level of JavaScript knowledge

Thanks for the quick response. Do the artists on here not share the same game engine?
Or it's it suck it and see?
And what about character creations? Anything specific or just use what you want to?

Yeah, most of the time we use the same engine.
Speaking about the characters, choice is always up to artist or game idea author.

Cool. Do you share any code etc like a base code base for the underlying actions?
Can you share what html5 game engine that you've had most success with?

Our engine works only in combination with a flash-converting software which I've developed for our own needs. And I can't share it, sorry
You may try to go with PixieJS or something based on it.
I don't recommend using Unity, cuz in this case your game won't be playable on mobile devices.

understand - code IPR. I was looking at Construct 3, but will look at the framework you suggested as well.
so what is the development process? Obviously you already have a lot of characters created. Are you using guys using something like Character Creator 3 to make 3D characters and then flatten them to make Cartoons? Eg the males and females are "ahem" generally over endowed.
or is everything hand drawn and then animated on other platforms?
Really interested in the process really. btw not looking to compete with you guys as the content you produce rocks, and would love to augment your stuff if and when i get something created of course

We draw and animate all our art in Flash, no need in any other sofware at this point. Flash is the most convenient animation program around there, at least it's so for me. And of course everything is hand-drawn (I've never been familiar with 3d).
Speaking of competition, we're not afraid of it at all. Competition is always good for developing a niche.
