Hello people, My apologies if my English is not fluent or not well written but I got an important question:

What happens if Adobe Flash is expired or not supported, which game engine/software will develop upcoming flash games in 2021?

Since last year, Adobe announced about the software will be discontinued in the end of 2020. So I thought if a game releases probably it'll be developed by Unity (My opinion).

So please post the messages, tell me your thoughts.

Someone already asked this and some of team answered it but i can't find the thread so whatevs; The last game the MNF team did on Flash was the Spyderman one, as of that one forward all the games they've been releasing now run on HTML5, the games prior to the aforementioned are still using the Flash format so i'm not sure what will happen with those, maybe they'll change it? idk

Dear users. Rumors about flash's death are highly exaggerated. Mnf club already has a standalone application which does not require any flash player component to be installed in your Windows. Same thing could be done for meetandfuckgames. But I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of other options to play flash games. Chrome by Google is about to stop supporting flash technology, but there will be numbers of others chromium-based browsers which gonna keep to do it. Don't worry guys, we will provide you with all the necessary info when time has come :).

Pretty much what anyone with any Intelligence already knows, people that know nothing are the ones fearmongering.
While we are at this topic, why did you guys decide to change from flash? working in flash is a lot faster, especially for minigames with actionscript and flash tools overall. Your art took a hit with some decisions, jumping to HTML5 being a big one.

Yes, working with pure flash is a lot faster and easier comparing to HTML5. But we try to appeal to as many users as possible and HTML5 is the only format which is supported by all the modern browsers by default :( Fucking Apple Corp started all this hate for Flash Player and internet media made the rest to demonize old good flash.

I am in the same boat, I worked with flash and it always worked fine for me, loaded fine too. Flash evolved over the years to be less of a pain, even for the end-user, but it feels like some big companies wanted to shut it down and thats how it all began.
I am not sure why, if its because of Adobe has the rights to flash, or because other companies want in on the action without paying, which seems to be the norm nowadays.

Truly a shame but I see how you wanted to plan a bit head and get more familiar with HTML5. I really do hope you guys can bring the quality to how it was before, in flash. I think maybe more time on each game, or less focus on mini-games and more on scenes could even it out. HTML5 seems like a huge complication compared to how flash was.
